Hope you guys enjoyed the pictures and feel as inspired as I have! Honestly I find it so amazing that a hobby so frowned upon by mainstream elitist can actually have the ability to inspire and motivate someone else half way across the globe.

While I admit, looking at these awesome Cosplayers and Cosplay photographs makes me bite my tongue in envy and lowers my self-esteem. I’m also thankful and is full of admiration for these people for pushing the boundaries of Cosplay and showing other people, just how far Cosplay can go.

It’s not just about wearing a cheap halloween wig and calling it a day. It’s about the dedication to details and the perseverance to overcome all those costume obstacle! While it is very dreamy and Child-Like in it’s rawest form, I don’t see how being serious, determined and hardworking can be labelled “Immature”.

Yeap, Kenshin was my 3rd cosplay and I cosplayed him in 2002. Wig was not mainstream then so I dyed my real hair cherry red for him. Left my arm guard at home during the shoot which is the reason why my arms look so bare >.<

Hi peeps~ Things have been a little slow again recently because I was busy watching Lovely Complex doing freelance work :D

But I’m back again because I iz haz lovely photos to pimp :D!!!!!

Noctis Lucis Caelum (storm) from Final Fantasy versus XIII by AmenoKitarou

Love the play/usage of water in the first picture. Cosplayer did an awesome job posing and slashing the water circle 57834233082 times and the photographer did an awesome job capturing it. I like how, despite the fast motion, nothing is blurred. Good use of shutter speed ?

I think the Storm cosplayer looked awesome too! Love his costume and sword *_*

I really like how much motion is captured here. Especially the swinging of the flags! Makes you feel like its some international patriotic day and I can almost hear the trumpets blowing! Make you feel the love and pride of each flag wielder with their animated swinging :D

Found this picture really amazing because like what I commented on her DA. I’m really amazed at how well both the cosplayer and photographer performed in that kind ( underwater omfg?! ) situations. I can never keep my eyes open underwater much less pose in it. Nuff said.

OMG, love mascotish cosplays. The intricateness of the costume is so beautifully portrayed here with the sun shining on the lycra like costume and the texture of the headgear so nicely embossed *_*

Also love the dynamic angle! I think the photographer might have used some sort of wide lens :D

I like the slight yellowish treatment in the colour and most importantly how the expression and eyes of the cosplayer seems to pull me into her world. >//////<;;; *Hentai jiji mode*

Sometimes, cosplaying normal clothes character can be the most difficult. But the cosplayer did a great job using her body language and guitar to bring an added punch to the photo

Megurine Luka and Kagamine Len by Love-Squad and Yond

Absolutely love to this picture! The colours are so vibrant but it still carry that sombre and forbidden ambience! Probably due to the large area of ‘black’ and how the edit dimmed the edges and made your eyes focus on just the cosplayers. Lovely pose, great wig styling ( luka’s curls *_*) and of course pretty headphones!

Luka X Len is also a pretty unexpected pairing :D

I like how they managed to turn tropical Singapore into a dreamy winter wonderland with their edit xD Lovely warm colours bring out the coziness of the scene. And great posing from both cosplayers =)

The white version! Sorry for the straight Vocaloid spams till now. I swear it was unintentional. Anyway, love the colours of this! Lovely photo quality that has a slightly overexposed effect yet retaining the the details and textures on the costume. Lovely framing and pose :D

Alright, I admit. This is here mostly because …I think the Ryuuji Cosplayer is very good looking ehehhee. But that aside, I love how size appropriate both cosplayer are! Size is something very difficult to change so its nice to see a Taiga and Ryuuji that both fit the bill =)

Love their poses and expressions too! But I think Miguel might be TOO good looking for Ryuuji. LOL!

Wow. Gotta agree with skye, the light rays are pwnage! Lovely locations wins half the battle. And of course, the gorgeous costumes the cosplayers are donning are blinding me too.

My favourite part has got to be how intense their ‘love’ for each other is showing through their pose and the backlight that highlights their silhouette.
